You’ll always know exactly where I stand. I haven’t had to ‘evolve’ on the issues, because I’ve always said what I believe to be true and common sense. I’ve been championing the same core principles for the last 20 years.

veterans

The country's commitment to veterans should never be a budget line item up for debate. Expanded VA healthcare, mental health resources, and making sure the men and women who served get everything they were promised.

immigration

Comprehensive reform that secures the border while treating people with dignity. Both parties need to stop using the issue as a political football and start fixing the system, from asylum processing to workforce needs.

israel

Standing firm on Israel's right to exist and defend its people, even when his own party pushes back. Alliances aren't something you abandon when they become politically inconvenient.

A different kind of democrat

John doesn’t look like a typical politician, and more importantly, he doesn’t act like one. He supported legalizing marijuana before it was popular, officiated a same-sex marriage before it was legal, and pushed for single payer healthcare long before it was mainstream. The issues John is running on now are the same issues he’s been working on for the last two decades.
